Swim Diapers and Suits

BellevueBride and I are taking Charlotte and Leo to swim lessons starting next week.  Can we use BumGenius dipes w/o the inserts for swim diapers?  I swear someone mentioned this before.

Also, if Charlotte's suit from last summer is too small, any ideas where I might find a cheap one this time of the year?  Would it be weird if I just let her go in a diaper?

    What size suit is she in?  Allie had about a billion suits last year, some of which she never wore.  I'd be happy to give you one if the sizing works.

    What size suit is she in?  Allie had about a billion suits last year, some of which she never wore.  I'd be happy to give you one if the sizing works.

    She is wearing 6-9 month clothing mostly.

    When I looked into using the BGs as swim diapers everything I found said that it was ok but that you should pick one to use as a swim diaper and only as a swim diaper. I guess eventually the chlorine can have an effect on the PUL.

    I decided not to waste my BG and bought a SWIMMI by Bummis. It was cheaper than replacing one of our BGs. I ordered from Nicki's Diapers and they overnighted it at no extra charge since we were on a tight time crunch before vacation.

    Jersey - Thanks, I have a second hand BG that isn't in the best of shape, I 'll just use that one.

    Megs&Nick - I will check target before I steal one of yours, thanks for the offer.
