  • Put half away, live off the interest, buy a house with some acreage and new cars and furnishings with with the rest, and start having babies. We'd probably get some horses, too.

    - Pay off my house and other debt.
    - Give a good chunk of money to our parents.
    - Buy new vehicles.
    - Build our dream house and furnish it--keeping our current home as investment property.
    - Donate to a few charities.
    - Invest the rest so that DH and I can live comfortably off interest.

  • Pay off all debt. Put 3/4 of it in the bank in CD's/investments/money market. Buy both of us new cars, new roof, home repairs, put 10,000 for access at any time (checking account/savings) and use the rest to divide between family to help with their debt (which would be about 25,000 to each set of parents).

  • I would buy a house with most of it and invest the rest.
  • Pay off house, student loans, and cars. Put a second floor on the house. Go to Mexico. Start hefty college savings for the baby, as well as a high interest savings for ourselves. Help our parents with some of their debts.
