Name - Cora
Due Date - 1/23
Date Placed on Bedrest - 11/21 31 w
Type - Modified Bedrest/ Restricted Activity
Why - PTL
Question of the Day - What are you currently craving?
Answer: PASTA and MEXICAN FOOD!!! OMG I want both so badly!
Updates: NST went ok today, but I miss my regular nurse. I had this other woman whom I've never met before, and Kayleigh's heartrate was higher than typical, but this nurse felt she wasn't active enough and went and got that darn noise making vibrating thingy...like the technical term lol...drove my LO nuts, and her heart rate went up in the high 180's. I was not happy! I looked at her and said, Yvonne (the other nurse) typically like's her heart rate in the high 140's-150's. Her heart rate is to high. So what ended up happening, I had to stay an extra freaking hour so they could make sure Kayleigh's heartrate went down to the 150's. It barely got there within that 1 hour. Fortunnately Yvonne will be back next week, I have to deal with this darn nurse once more! Ugh!!!! Sorry about the ranting!

Answer: fruit fruit fruit... and milk. :-)
Updates: Sorry girls, this one's long:So yesterday was weird. I went to see my MW for my 37 week appointment. (Oh yeah - I'm full term! YAY!) Both LO and I are doing well... REALLY well... so well, in fact, that MW said, "I guess you don't have pre-e." This is good news, I know... but I'm getting weary from this rollercoaster. I never wanted to be induced, but at my 36 week appt., I left with the impression that I was going to be induced at 38 weeks (which is NEXT WEEK)... and I went through this process of getting ready for that, including all that is involved with having a 2009 baby rather than a 2010 baby. My mom and sister are pressuring me to push for an induction, now, so we can have the financial benefits of a 2009 baby. Of course that would be nice, but I really want to wait. PLUS, my MW isn't going to go for it... that's why I chose a MW, after all. I know that everything will work out better if I wait until I go into labor naturally. My mom (who had two natural labors and deliveries and one other one) said, "Well, the OBs here do that all the time, for everyone." Then she continued to make this my responsibility/my choice, etc. Its just really stressful.I'm worried about work. Because I left work at 34 weeks, the days I'll have to spend at home with LO (EBFing, I hope), are getting shorter. The amount of days without my income are continuing, and the time when we'll have to pay for daycare is getting here sooner. If I'm past my EDD AT ALL, I won't even get six weeks with her. This makes me sad. :-(Even though I really want to go into labor naturally, for a week or so I was geared up for the induction, and it IS terribly convenient. I'm getting tired of going back and forth with the diagnosis and everything. Obviously, I have mixed feelings.Oh, and I go for another BPP tomorrow...
Answer: I really wanted a chicken sandwich from Jack in the Box (only $1!!), and I'm eating it now
Updates: none today, been going to school this week and being active. I'm still checking in here because if my u/s tomorrow shows that my activity is a bad thing, I might be put back on bed rest. I'm still on probation. *Thanks Lesley!
