I feel like I once read somewhere that if a baby has hiccups more than x times per day that you should call your Dr., but I cant remember how many times or where I saw that info. It is only 9am and he has already had them twice today.
I feel like this is such a silly question...
How many times a day does your baby have hiccups?

Re: How many times a day does your baby have hiccups?
Twice, on average. I do NOT like the hiccups.
Oh-- I found it-- WTEWYE-- Under the section about "Knots and Tangles in the Cord" (page 521)-- "Another possible sign is frequent hiccups at 36-40 weeks-- two to four episodes every twenty-four hours, each lasting more than ten minutes."
Ugh...I hate having so many things to be worried about.
I am not a big fan of hiccups either. I like feeling him, but the hiccups feel so weird to me.
He gets them about 2x per day. I asked my doc and she said its good. Stressed out babies don't hiccup so its a good sign.

I get them 1-4 times per day, and they last about 2-5 minutes. I started feeling them at around 22 weeks, but I wasn't sure if they were hiccups or not. Now, they're a lot stronger!
