I was thinking, as a little side gift for Christmas, about getting all the grandparents books that they can fill out with specific info about themselves. I've found a couple online - The Grandparents Treasure Chest, From Your Grandfather/Grandmother. But I can't seem to find any in the stores, and kind of wanted to look through them first.
Any suggestions? Does it seem to cheesy? Not to be Debbie Downer - but 2 of my grandparents died before I was really old enough to get to know them. I would have loved to have this kind of 'gift' from them. I thought this would be a cool idea, but that may just be me.
I feel like someone posted something similar some time back. So if anyone has any feedback, I'd greatly appreciate it!
TIA
Kat

Awesome!!
Thanks so much
We got the "Grandfather/Grandmother Remembers" books and we got them at Borders in Eastgate. HTH!
I am planning on getting my parents "A Father's Legacy" and "A Mother's Legacy" by J countryman - my MIL got one for my husband when DD was born and I really like it.
I agree its a great to have those little details of grandparents/parents lifes recorded. My grandfather had a journal of his own and I love to go back and look at it since he passed away when I was young and I never really got to know him except through what he wrote.
