When did your doctor tell you was the latest you could fly? So far I've had a pretty *knock on wood* easy pregnancy with twins, but I'm only 20w5d. I plan on calling my OB tomorrow as I wonder if I'm right on the cusp by planning on flying when 25-26 weeks. TIA!
ETA: This would be about a 2 1/2 hour flight

Re: Twim Moms - when were you restricted travel?
At my 19 week appointment, I asked about flying because a good friend was having a baby shower in Indianapolis (I am in San Diego). I would have been 24 weeks pregnant at the time of the shower. The Peri said I could absolutely go, but I should wear compression stockings since the flight was so long.
ETA: I am 26 weeks now and there's no way in hell I could sit through a flight. I am glad I didn't end up going.
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
i would not fly at 25 weeks- no way... i didn't want to fly at all with either of my pgs- but esp the twin one - and thankfully my doc agreed that I shouldn't fly when my company tried to make me go to a meeting - i was 20w - he wrote me a note to get out of it.
A family friend lost her twins around 23w when she flew... it happened years ago and has always stuck with me.
sure- many women fly and it's fine- but the way i see it- there's nothing that would make me risk it.

Ok, my OB must be ultra relaxed because she said as long as I was feeling good, I could travel up to 34 weeks. Unless she momentarily forgot I was having twins or something. That was kind of surprising to me.
She told me that my only concern would be discomfort and not having immediate access to my medical records if something did happen.
We are planning on driving 3.5 hours the week before Christmas to see the IL's and will be staying 3 days. I'll be 32 weeks. As of now, I feel fine, so I hope things are still good a month from now.
There is no way I would have flown at that gestation -- not because of any doctor restrictions either. At 25/26 weeks I hit a wall, HARD and I was miserable walking or sitting for any extended period of time (extended meaning even just walking to the far end of the grocery store to get milk).
I would honestly not recommend doing it just for your comfort, even if you doc allows it.
