  I don't think it's EF but that's just my gut speaking and no research into it.

   

  ETA:  And googling it so far has come up with some interesting results on some issues with the bar breaking or blobbing up into a ball.

  there is no way that would go in my dryer. ? I can't even?imagine?what residue it leaves behind on the dryer walls.

  That. It's about as ef as any standard fabric softener is - which is pretty much not ef. It also decreases the effectiveness of your towels (it does the same thing to towels as it does to diapers - makes them less absorbent and more likely to repel) and it's a fire hazard. Fabric softener sheets and I would imagine these bars as well will put a waxy coating all over your lint screen and clog it up and have been known to cause dryer fires.

  That's what I figured. If any +'s, it's a money saver and that's about it- my mom isn't into anything EF, and she just thinks that thing is the best. She uses Charlie's because it's cheap and uses that Bounce bar for the smell.
