I read that thread about it yesterday and it seems like everyone on this board except for me is happily strolling around in their pre-preg clothes after a few weeks (or days, in some cases). WTF?
I am so far off from my pre-preg clothes it's not even funny. Like months of WW and exercise off. I'm going to be so depressed if I am the only one on this board who didn't bounce back like that.
Please post here if you are in the same boat so I can feel better. And if you ARE in your pre-preg clothes, don't come in here and gloat, unless you want a throat punch! ![]()
Re: Are you people all REALLY in your pre-pregnancy clothes?
i am back to pre-pregnancy weight, but not able to wear most of my clothes. it is hit-or-miss and a lot of muffin-top sexiness.
i don't think that is the norm. my uterus wasn't even contracted enough to think about getting into my pants to wear home from the hospital.
I feel the same way. WW would not help me. I have no stomach. I gained all my extra weight in my Arse. The only way it's coming off is running and no jogging strollers can be used til like 6 effin' months.
I feel your frustration.
I went and bought a pair of jeans in a size larger than my pre-preg size. I also bought a few shirts one size up, but now they are too big so I'm going to try and shrink them.
Are you close to your pre-preg weight. I'm only .6 pounds away, but my body is totally different! I don't think I'll ever fit into my pre-preg jeans again.
Your beautiful.... dont be so hardon yourself.....
Im not in the same boat... but i wont gloat about it... becuase stuff definatly shifted... hello 30 day shred
I am totally with you! I saw that post too and it depressed me! I have a very long way to go to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight and even farther to go to get back to my ideal weight!
I just keep reminding myself how worth it LO is when I think about my weight!
I was just telling DH that I think I'm the only one in the world who is this far along pp and still has a huge preg looking belly with belly button sticking out and all. So depressing...
FWIW, I had a CS and sometimes I wonder how it would have been had I delivered vaginally.
LOL. Well I'm past that point, so obviously that's not the case for me
I promise I am in the same boat! I tried my pre-preg clothes on the other day.. I can button/zip 3 pairs of pants but due to my muffin top there is NO way in GODS paradise that I could possible wear, let alone be able to breath normally in them..
I can't wait until the ok to go to the gym!!

Umm, yeah I'm almost 2 months pp and still in maternity pants. I'm in my pre-preg shirts but thats it. I should point out that I only have two pairs of maternity jeans and that is it because it was summer so I'm in yoga pants if I'm not out of the house.
You can use the BOB revolution even when they are newborn. You just have to get the car seat adapter. DH and I have been running with our LO since he got here.
This. ugh.
i love yoga pants!!!!
I don't have this yet, but I am planning on getting it soon. It says 2 months and up
Jogging Stroller
No way. I gained 50 lbs. I've lost about 35 but I had to buy a size up from my regular size for work pants. The main issue is my tummy and thighs.
Seems like all pants either sit too low exposing the muffin top, or too high a la Urkel pants.
THIS!
This is my problem - Im still up 25 lbs from my pre preg weight though. It must be all in the new muffin top - now I see why "mom jeans" exist - they hold the muffin top in. I am DETERMINED to get rid of it though!
