I am a baby name freak! Ever since I was a little girl I made a list on the computer of names I liked. I now have a list on babynames.com. I would talk with my husband frequently about baby names and we had several written down...then I found out *surpise!* i'm pregnant, so we already have several names to choose from.
Boy:
Ian Macaiah
or
Ethan Macaiah
Macaiah is pronounced Muh-kai-uh...in case you were wondering
Girl:
Abigail Brielle
Natalie Brielle
Emmalyn Brielle
or
Ashlyn Brielle
Not all of these have a biblical meaning, but a lot of them do and those are the ones we're leaning towards.
Please share all the names you will be considering if you have any! LIke I said, i'm a baby name freak!
Re: Have any of you thought about baby names yet?
All our kids have biblical names so we are trying to stick with it this time...
Boy: Gabriel Anthony
Girl: Evee Jean
I love love love Abigail, I wanted to change my DD's name to Abigail the week before she was born. But my husband had his heart set on Isabel.
And I like Ethan.
Girl: Lilian (Lily) after my husbands grandmother. (middle name is still undecided)
Boy: Max, Bryce, Kellen. ( no middle names yet)
We have a tentative list....
boy: Luke William, Elliot Payne, or Liam (short for William) Payne. Middle name William or Payne (William is both my and DH's dad; Payne my dad's middle, grandmother's maiden)
girl: Emily Marie, Meredith Anne, or Molly Anne (Marie my sister's middle name and DH's godmother's name; Anne my mom's name)
I was one of those list-making little girls too!
Although, now that I have to include DH in the decision it's more difficult. Right now we like:
Boy: Leo, Alexander, Noah or Nicolas
Girl: Annabelle, Maya, Elizabeth, Ellie
DD2: Lucia (Lucy) 07/13
I LOVE Liam and Emily Marie!
I have a lot of names taken by family too. Most of my boy names are already taken by family members.
Very nice names! I also like Evelyn for a girl
Love Annabelle!
Our girls name is settled... it's what we would have named #1 of it were a girl: Brynn Sophia
Our boys name will be a bit tougher. For one, it was hard enough coming up with Carter's name, so I'm really not looking forward to coming up with another one, lol!
Our last name is a first name, so I like the idea of last names as first names (like our first son, Carter) So, the name we like so far is Reid Joseph
Carter Robert 7.18.08 | Brynn Sophia 5.24.10 | Reid Joseph 9.10.12 | Emerson Mae 1.27.14
Thanks! I like Ava too...
DH is bound and determined its another boy so he doesnt listen to any girl names at this time really.... i say its a girl....
I LOVE Alexander. My husbands 5 year old brother's name is Alexander...except it is spelled Alexandre (the french spelling). They call him Xander...except it is spelled Xandre. I love it. I also love Noah and your girl names!
I love Ava too! But my brother and SIL (who is due in Jan with a boy) want to name their first daughter Avalee after my grandma. Pronounced Avahlee...but they would call her Ava for short
That happenned to me with the name Layla... DH's cousin got to it first! grr
Emma Louise or Alexander ?
Me. It's too early.
DH have talked about this for some time while TTC! We like..
for a boy: Mason Carter!
for a girl: Addison Lee (routine middle name for first borns in our family), Hannah Claire, Charlotte ________ , Kennedy Faith!
Addison is such a beautiful name - I love it
Thank you! It's my pick!
DH and I have talked about baby names ever since we started dating. We have a long list of favorites, and a lot more boy names than girls.
Some of them: Henry, Graham, Geoffrey, Miles... Amelia, Olive, Penelope...
There are plenty more... how will we ever decide!?
Boy: Michael Parker or Parker Michael but he'll go by Parker.
DH's name is Michael and would prefer it to come second, but I think it sounds better first. Either way, he'll go by Parker.
Girl: Ava _____ Possible middle names include: Claire, Caroline, Grace and Leigh. I would have loved to name her Claire but DH doesn't like it, but we both fell in love with Ava. I'm trying hard to keep Claire in the running for a middle name.
Hubby is Welsh so we are going with Welsh first names:
Carys Susan (Carys sounds like care-is means love and Susan is my MIL first name) for a girl
Caden Brian (Brian is our mutual friend that introduced us) for a boy
So many good names!!!! So far, what we can agree on are:
Girl: Makenna
Boy: Nolan
But there are still plenty of names we haven't talked about...it's so fun and so important!
We've already decided!
Boy: Cole Christopher
Girl: Mallory Clara

Girl: Audrey Nancy or Olive Nancy
Boy: Desmond Allan or Duncan Allan
I, too, had a list in a notebook for many years of baby names I loved! LOL
We have decided on Grace Adele if it's a girl (which we think it is!) and Rowan Kellar (family name) if it's a boy!
GL--I think all your names are beautiful.
Girl: Hailey May
Boy: Nathan Michael
Carys, but spelled Caris is our girl name as well!!
Girl: Caris Adeline (adeline after my grandpa's mom..but really to honor my grandfather)
Boy: William Paul (my grandfather and dh's dad)
Oh all your names sounds awesome!!
For a girl we have Gracelynn Anne(Grace is MIL who passed away, and Anne is part of my mothers name)
We are struggling with a boy name...so far we have Zachary, Ethan, Connor, Brody, Benjamin, and Lucas
I think we have all the time in the world to come up with names, but DH has thrown me off b/c he wants to talk about names EVERY SECOND OF MY LIFE. We've agreed to start narrowing it down & name the baby once we meet him/her. So far we like:
Boys: Dylan James, Ziggy James (James is my dad's name).
Girls: Elle Victoria, Sloane Marissa, Tristan, Mila, Quinn, Julia. Kate maybe for a middle name?
Decision, decisions.
DD1 born 5/24/10.
Missed M/C at 14 wks Feb 2012.
DD2 born 5/14/13.
Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.
For us we have a few options for each:
Girls: Abigail, Sloane, Catherine, Charlotte
Boys: Rowan, Patrick, Edward, Wallace
Girl's name is set in stone - Eveline Nellie (Nellie after my grandma)
We are all over the place for a boys name. Middle name will be Sebastien after my husband though. Like Isiah or Eli and my husbad likes Elias. But dh is French and we live in a French community and none of the boy names sound good in French. With our 7 mnth old his name is Nicholas but is prounced more like Nee-cola (basically ignore the 'h' and drop the 's' in his name). I'm just hoping its a girl.
