beta #2
just got the call, beta #2 is 716 and progesterone is 72.8.
i go in for an u/s next thurs.
my nurse said i could stop taking the endometrin twice a day and just do it at night. part of me wants to do that (mainly b/c than i could go back to my non underwearing days) and then i worry that it's not a good idea, so wwyd?

I am way to cautious to stop - so I would stay on the same dose until after the u/s.

I am not sure about the endometrin because I was always on PIO, and I stayed at the same dose until 11 weeks.

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

Congrats on the great beta rise.
I am going to ignore the non underwearing comment and say, if you feel comfortable stopping maybe they can run another blood draw when you go in for your us. If your progesterone is still through the roof stick with one, otherwise, get back on them twice a day.
After two losses, third time was a charm.

As far as the endometrian; I agree it is terrible but you do what you think is best, I am also cautious??!!

I would probably stay on the progesterone until after the u/s, which is just a little over a week away. You've done it this long, you can do it for another week, right?

i had a similar experience as kimarino13 w/PIO until 10 weeks, but i did do endometrin, as well.
you could do a taper, in that you could go every other day for a while w/the 2x/day dosing and then 1x/day on the off days. that way when they tell you to go off all together you can go straight to the 1x/day and then to none.
that said, your doctor should know what is safe and i wouldn't have a problem following their advice, if it were me.
