Personally. I would do it 2x a day. But everything seems to be fine with you so don't feel guilty if you switch to 1x a day. Congratulations.

I would go with the nurse's recommendation, just b/c I hated being on endometrin. Your progesterone levels are good. With IUI, you still ovulate on your own so you have a corpus luteum and are producing progesterone on your own. (With IVF it's different b/c you don't really have a normal corpus luteum so you would have to stay on the supplements until the placenta kicks in)
but if it makes you feel better, keep taking it 2x a day. Extra progesterone won't hurt.

Congrats! I think if I were you, I'd probably stay on the endometrin until your first u/s. I'm sure the nurse knows what she's talking about, so I'm sure it would be safe to follow her advice too. Best of luck to you & can't wait to hear about your u/s!

TTC in 2008. Stage II/III endo, Hashimotos hypothyroid, low morph (3%).
2 cycles Clomid/Ovidrel/TI/Crinone=BFN.
IUI #1 - 4 Follistim/Ovidrel/IUI/Crinone = BFN.
IVF #1 - Antagonist w/ ICSI 4/10. 17 retrieved, 5DT of 2, BFN
IVF #2 - Long Lupron w/ ICSI 6/10. 15 retrieved, 3DT of 2, BFFN!!
Lap 7/21/10
IVF #3 - Clomid/Antagonist w/ ICSI 10/10. 14 retreived, 3DT of 3, BFP 10/20 but m/c. No HB 11/15/10 - D&C 11/17/10.

me too - i am too cautious to stop - i started bleeding the week I stopped endometrin though so that is for me a big huge mental issue.....

My progesterone was off the chart of what they test for and yet my RE keep me on it twice a day. For your own comfort I'd stick with it.

I was on Endometrin and didn't start tapering off until 10-11 weeks. I say do what makes you feel comfortable.

Congrats! I am a big worry wart so if it were me, I would continue taking the endometrin until after the u/s.
