I use some of them to make salad dressing to keep in the fridge, but now I have 1230981204398 jars in my cupboard. Any ideas? I know someone out there has a creative use for them.
Do you have friends with kids? We make "reindeer dust" and put it in the jars and then give it to our friends before Christmas. You're supposed to sprinkle the dust in the yard so the reindeer can find a way to your house.
I've also read of people using them for votives by painting them.?
I took crepe paper and applied it with modge podge on the jars. I put tea light candles in them and put them on my walkway for halloween lol. Colbi likes doing this so I'm sure I'll have hundreds eventually.
We donate them to the art teacher at a nearby school. She uses them for all kinds of things with the kids. Maybe you could check with the schools near you?
My friend asked for some of mine. She is putting paper clips, screws, and other odds and ends in them. I will start using the rest for my kids' beads and other art stuff. What their beads are in now is not so easy for them to do on their own so this will be easier. When my husband comes home I am going to see if he wants some for his seasonings. He likes to mix up certain things together so it is easy for the next time he wants to have that combination.
I totally hoard them because I make most of my food, so the jars are few and far between! I use them to put the homemade food in (when I take it out of the freezer). When I get more than a few, I put spices in the others. PSA spices are incredibly cheaper to buy in bulk - food co-ops and gourmet stores usually have them if your grocery doesn't. They fit in my spice rack.
I guess I'm a slacker because I just put them in the recycle bin!
Yeah, this. I don't have the time, energy, or desire for baby food jar arts and crafts
"Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies. God damn it, you've got to be kind."
- Kurt Vonnegut
Re: what do you do with all the empty baby food jars?

uh, you don't need to save them all, ms. hoarder. they can be thrown away or preferably recycled.
