I had a rough morning and was 15 mins late for work.. needless to say I didn't get time to finish doing my hair.. so I got to work and was walking to the bathroom to do my hair and a lady from finance was in the bathroom and asked how I was feeling.. I told her I got sick again this morning.. her response: I only had MS with 2 of my 4 pregnancies.. both times I lost the babies... the other 2 times I carried my babies to term I had no MS
uhhhh.. thanks?
Re: MS still going strong...
Oh that's terrible! Usually people say the opposite though.
I've also heard from some moms of multiples and singletons that their MS with multiples was greater.
I was standing there looking at her like WHERE are you going with this one?? argh
yah, thats what my doc said.. everything with multiples will be intensified.....
FFS, what a terrible thing to say!!! I'm sorry for her incredibly insensitive comment, and for you feeling bad again. ((HUGS))
Cycle #11: BFP
WTF do people open their mouths (or type like I mentioned last night).
FWIW my MW told me that higher estrogen pgs usually result in MS.
ETA: Your' baking a duo there...of course there would be more estrogen.
what a ***. GRR. actually she probably didnt even think about it before she said it. sorry .
fwiw i've heard that ms is a sign of a viable pregnancy ( although if you dont have it thats okay too) i puked my guts up with my daughter.
GL
WTF?! Who says something like that?!
And for the record - I had wicked ms with both my pregnancies. With N it lasted until halfway through the second tri. Both full term, healthy pregnancies. And I ditto the statement that generally you hear the opposite - ms means a good healthy pregnancy (not really sure that statement is any more truthful then the one your coworker made but take it for what it's worth!)
