How do you sleep in the same room as a newborn? I *really* think part of our problem is that I hear *every.single.little.thing* because during the day, when DS naps (and he's not ON me) he will sleep for an hour and a half or 2 or more... but I'm not usually in the same room. I'll turn on the monitor and leave the room. I start to get anxious if he makes the smallest noise, so if he's in the room, he's probably picking up some of that tension and waking up a little. (Make sense?) But I don't want to let him sleep in another room yet- I know that's another SIDS prevention thing, for babies to sleep in the same room.
