Our swing pooped out on us and it went through batteries pretty ridiculously. I know they have some good ones out there that you can plug in. Anyone got one they like? TIA
Oh and I don't know why I don't have a ticker anymore but my baby is 3 months 3 weeks and 5 days old.
Re: Recommend your "no batteries" swing
Trying for #2 since July 2010
BFP 8/1/10, missed m/c, D&C 9/15/10.
BFP 1/8/11, chemical pregnancy.
BFP 3/4/11, measured behind all along, no more HB 4/18/11. D&C 4/29/11. HCG didn't drop, Repeat D&C 6/17/11; confirmed molar pregnancy 6/23/11.
Forced break, including two Hysteroscopies in October to remove retained tissue.
BFP 12/29/11! Betas @ 10 dpo = 85, 14 dpo= 498, 22 dpo = 7242
Heard HB 1/24/12. 144 bpm!
Luca Rose born 9/9/12! More than worth the wait!
I hate to tell you this, cause every baby is different, but my son loved the swing at 3.5 months and overnight the swing just didn't work for him anymore. This late I would probably try something else or get a Fisher Price travel swing (it has batteries, but it's inexpensive) for the time being (unless you plan to have other babies).
the boys love the Sweet Peace soothing center swing.
This exactly. DS loves it. It goes both forward/backward and side to side. It also has several different music options. Some are soothing to put them to sleep while others are upbeat and very playful. I'll warn you though that sometimes you get that damn music stuck in your head and find yourself singing it.
