My doctor diagnosed me with a low lying placenta today. I'm now on pelvic rest until a follow-up U/S in 8 weeks. She has asked me not to google this condition so that I don't worry, but I was just wondering if anyone else has experience with this. She said it usually corrects itself on it's own...I hope so! The only upside is that we get to see our little boy again!

If someone told me NOT to google something... I would do it from my phone immediately.
Either way, it IS pretty common from what I understand, and it DOES correct itself a lot of the time. Rest up, that pelvis will be put to hard work soon enough

I dont know about your condition although I did have something weird with my placenta at first but it corrected itself.
On a second note: I'm having a Hokie baby too and I love your siggy! Where did you get it? Do you still have the code? I also live in Richmond - small world.
