I'm not opposed to them but I don't. Mostly because I have 3 kids to clothe, one of them being a high maintenance 4 year old, so Mo doesn't get too many expensive clothes at this point.
I answered "heck no" and actually had to google what longalls were. But I have a friend from SC and she used to dress her little boys in that sort of thing. Maybe its regional? I don't know if I've ever seen little boys dressed like that around here (Seattle).
i've only put p in one john-john, and that was for a baby dedication at our church. if i could find the ones that i like (and if they were more reasonably priced) he'd wear more.
once i get my sewing skills perfected i'm going to make him some though!
My mom smocks, so most smocked things would come from her, and would be more special occasion type things. If I had a boy, though, I'd probably have even fewer of them. I think my mom is really only into it because she likes making dresses for her. Growing up she smocked a lot of dresses for me, but only one pair of corduroy overalls for my brother and male cousin.
I don't come across many boys in frilly clothes and the like here in Houston, but I know there are some people who ONLY dress their boys in them. I have heard rumors of these boys at gymboree.

Yeah, I definitely think the outfits are more of a southern thing...which is why it makes me laugh that people on here say that his outfit in my siggy is girlie. Most of my friends (who are "natives") dress their LOs like this too!
I do dress my DS like that (or used to when he was smaller) but usually for special occasions or pictures. I probably would have done it a little more if it wasn't so pricey. Now that he is older, it's harder to find what I like and he is wearing more big boy clothes. My husband thought he looked like a girl sometimes, but I am all for dressing babies like babies because I know there will come a time when I can't dress him like that anymore.

When his growth slows down, I may change my tune.

Honestly, I don't even know what those things are....
So i`m assuming I don't own them....

Must be. DS is from the south and actually knew what they all are...
