Mom of 7lbish babies who EFF

When did they start wearing 9 month size clothes?  I know all babies are different, but I need an idea.  I want to give my friend some clothes but are afraid they'll be out of season before her daughter fits in them.

    he started wearing some 9 month clothes when he was 5 months old, and grew out of anything 9 month by the time he was 8.5-9 months old.

    We're MOSTLY FF, just one nursing session a day, but she's been in 9 months since the tail end of 4 months to 5 months.  But she is a REALLY long baby.  They knew that before she was ever born, from the scans we had to do toward the end.

    DD was wearing 9 month clothes probably around 7 months.  She still wears them, but with pants and sleepers, she wears 12 months.  She is long and lean.

    I've just given up on buying Chloe anything that has feet in it!

    I know it!  I get so frustrated with pants!  At home, I don't even bother, but when we go out, I'm forever annoyed cuz the 9 months are too short and the 12 months are too big in the waist!  My mom said she had the same problem with me and my sister when we were babies/toddlers.

    We've been FF since 5 months, DS is just now starting to wear 9mo clothing and still wears a couple of his 6mo stuff.
