Ladies-- I've noticed a new group slowly joining us from 1st tri or later 2nd tri ladies becoming more late night postings so I thought tonight (with some comments I read and related to in another post) we could have a little meet and greet together. Feel free to post to introduce yourself. Post as little or as much as you feel comfy posting and who knows, we might make a new friend or two...lol
Re: To the Night Owls: Meet and Greet :)
Hi,
My name is Katie. Hubby Chris and I are waiting for our first baby (a little girl on her way). We have way too many pets for our small house (2 dogs and 2 cats) so this house may look like a zoo before long... We both work retail but its really a college job for both of us. He is in the Army Nat'l Guard as well (weekend warrior) so that supplements our income quite a bit. He will be headed overseas again not this Oct but next (2010). Poor hubby, he is already getting sad about missing baby girl's 1st xmas and bday...
*love* it!! lol!! Although if we call ourselves that our group might shrink a bit?
Hi all!
What is funny is i am not really a NIGHT owl..well i guess...but since being CA, the 2 hr difference makes me appear to be a night owl. I am sure most of yall are west coasters too.
My name is Jessica, hubby Matt and we r expecting our first little girl too. At the US when hubby hears its a girl says "oh, no" with a big smile on his face. We are excited and scared but all the same she's coming!!
Family lives in TX so i spend lots of time on the computer staying in touch. I consider myself Texan.
I LOVE COLLEGE FOOTBALL. I am texas aggie and I LOVE TV!! Watch way too much. Okay enough!
Hey y'all!
1st name: Abbey
DH: Jason; been married since 3/8/08
EDD: 1/6/10
Team: Blue!
Baby Name: Charles Stewart (my sweet little Bonny Prince Charlie!) He is our first.
Town: Austin, TX
Job: Freelance Costume Designer
Funness: I pride myself on speaking my mind; I'm very attached to my bumpies; I like to sew, cook, garden, and paint. I'm also suffering from severe and paralyzing crib panic -- I can't decide which one!!!!
I also post quite a bit during the day when I'm not in design insanity...
Woot! for So. Cal. Rebeccas!
LMAO!
My name is Lacey. I'm 25. I'm expecting my first LO, and I'll be doing it alone. Stuck in the Midwest for now, but can't wait to get back to the beach! I'm addicted to this site (it replaced FB as my top visited) and HGTV late at night. I can't wait to find out gender on October 1 so I can go shopping
Nice to meet you guys!
Rebecca is a great name!
Hi, I'm Kate, and I'm a hooter! lol
DH and I live in California (actually, in Mission Bay! I saw a PP is coming here on a babymoon!) I'm a SAHW and DH is in the Navy. We are anxiously awaiting our first LO! Nice to meet you all!
Don't quit! Come nanny for me!! lol
Yay! Gig 'em Ags!!! I grew up in College Station, 2 blocks away from Northgate (my mom still lives there). I went to Tulane, but will always be an Aggie at heart.
That's me! We're staying at The Dana. I'm actually starting to get nervous because I keep reading reviews about one building being nice and the other being crappy. I hope we get the nice one!
You are kidding me?? We (DH and I) are from CS too. Went to HS there and parents still live there.
Hello ladies! I'm in AZ, so not too late here - although 10:30 is late for me these days.
I am a sahm to my beautiful son
We are expecting our second baby and this pregnancy has definitely been a little more rough than the first.
Hooters! I love it.
DH and I just moved back to CA after living in KS (where my family lives) for the past year. We just had our 1st son, Ayden, in March. Surprise BFP in mid-July, which means LO #2 will be born before Ayden's 1st birthday. I get tired just thinking about it. LOL.
Also, my ticker isn't correct. I have yet to get my first U/S and am waiting to change it after that.
Nice to meet everyone
I've never been to the Dana but I'm sure whichever one you end up in will be nice, if not....complain until you get the other!
This is the perfect time to visit, all the tourists are gone!
If you don't mind calling yourself a "Hooter"
Welcome to the late night crowd....talk about a pg brain moment...I completely spaced that just because its after midnight here, does not mean that this is not an international board and open to anyone in any timezone!! lol...sorry to have labeled you ladies who are not really at the late night times!
sidenote---has anyone seen alyssa around? She is usually a late nighter...
Hells yeah!!! Went to College Hills, and I'm a proud member Consol Class of '97! My name is even on the big granite Texas commemorating our UIL Academic State Championship... because I'm that cool.
My boss feels the same way! Hey if I nannied for you our kids could be sweethearts
When pregnancy is involved, Hooters don't shrink...
I'm Stacy. My baby has made me into a Hooter. I don't feel well in the morning, so I sleep as long as possible. Then, of course, I can't fall asleep until 1am or later and the cycle starts all over again.
DH and I have been married for almost 2 years. We live just outside of Chicago. This is our first one together, but we have two awesome kids from his previous marriage. My SD is 7 and my SS is 5. We also have our furbaby, Delilah, who will be 2 in a few weeks. She is one of the best chihuahuas I have ever met.?
I am an out of work graphic designer, and DH is an unemployed heavy machinery mechanic. So, for now, we are "retired" at the ages of (almost) 26 and 28.
I will soon be featured on the Bump, so you guys can read more of my story then!?
WOW...i actually moved to CS in hs...my family moved a lot, but DH lived there pretty much his whole life. When he gets home I am pulling out the YB :-) We graduated in 99. SMALL WORLD.
For a bit more visibility, I was in Theatre and in Speech for the most part in HS... maiden name Moore... I would totally look you up, too, but all of my yearbooks are at my mom's house!

I want in! ?
My name is Julie, I'm 27, living in Naples, FL (although I'm from NY originally, then lived on the east coast of FL for 10 years.) ?I do Executive Recruitment, but the economy has basically left me unemployed. ?My husband works in the Golf industry. ?He is French and has the cutest accent. ?We were married in Manhattan last October and started trying to conceive in March. ?I got my BFP in May and our little boy is due 1/4/10. ?
awe..my hubby is maori! we are going with a maori middle name. He was born there. His dad is from there with all of his dad's family, as well as his mom's maternal side!
boredom has led me to this. LOL
BTW, I just added pictures to my siggy. ?A picture of my husband and I on out wedding day, our LO, and my kitty Chloe (who is sleeping next to me and snoring very loudly.)??
?
LOL Love the Hooters badge!?
I love that someone came up with a nickname that can have 2 meanings....especially once we've have the babes and the milk comes in!
My name is Deirdre and I live in Seattle, WA. Expecting our 2nd baby, a boy, and DD will be just a few months shy of 3 when he arrives. Looking forward to meeting this little man soon! I want to see who has been having hiccups on my cervix!
Hi guys! My name is Anne, I am 22, and I live in the San Marcos area.
I am a recent college grad, and was going to start graduate school for library science next semester (because there are no jobs for Theater BS's) but...then we got our Surprise BFP. Probably wouldn't be a good idea to start grad school and deliver in the middle of the semester. I'm due March 20th, but we are really hoping for an Ides-of-March baby.
My boyfriend, Kev, is a 38 year old actor. So, he does pretty much whatever he can do to make money and still be on stage. Someday I'm going to write a super good book, and then neither of us will have to work. *wink*
Kia ora to you both. I always get a little buzz when I find someone else on here with a connection to NZ. There's lots of gorgeous Maori names.
Part of me would like to use a Maori name but part of me doesn't feel comfortable as my husband and I are both as white as can be.
