My baby is a little over 9 months. Pedi suggested letting baby try small amounts of people food to get her used to it, especially small amounts of milk or dairy so she'll transition to milk at 12 months.
Hubby is so excited about it and started giving baby bites of ice cream! She absolutely loves it and gets a huge smile on her face when he gives a bit (dime sized bite).
I know babies shouldn't really have sugar. If he gives her say 10 dime size bites, would you say that's excessive?
Re: Hubby gives baby ice cream
This....
it could be worse.....my BSC GMIL tried giving DS wine....
If it's a once in a while thing it's no big deal. The hard part is that now other foods will seem less exciting for some kids. But I wouldn't stress over it.
WHAT?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup...and she wonders why she doesn't get to see him much. She thought it would be funny to see what kind of faces he would make.
OMG he is the cutest ever!!! well besides mine
ITA. I let DS try it at a birthday party last weekend. Just a few little tastes.
