AF is on her merry way. My doctor won't give me more Clomid which means I won't be ovulating. So he wants us to "take a break". I am not sure how long that is going to be. Could be till the first of the year... could be a year from now. I have no clue. I am going to meet with him next week. DH and I agreed to try on our own until I turn 30 (about a year and a half from now) and then if I am not KU naturally, we are going go try IVF. That will give us some time to save up $$ and I need to loose some weight. In the mean time, I still plan on hanging around here. I won't be charting or any of that. We won't be actively TTC, but we won't be TTA either. Whatever happens, happens.
So in an effort to make myself feel better I decided to book a trip to somewhere I have never been before and some place I could really cut loose (sorry Katie, we'll go to Mexico next year). We are going to VEGAS next week! Got a GREAT deal ... 2 people, 2 nights at the MGM Grand with airfare for $600. Can't beat that! Who wants to come with us?!?!

Have fun in Vegas!!!! Stay away from the side streets... hookers I hear are everywhere! They will even hand out pamplets with their number on them or they will ask if you wana be in a porn!!! HAHA

Oh man, sorry about the forced break. Maybe you could talk to him about going on an alternative ovulation drug like Femara? I did that after several Clomid cycles.
Have fun in Vegas! I think Phantom is there right now, and I know Lion King is playing at Mandalay Bay and is supposed to be fabulous.

It sure would help out in saving up for IVF. BTW, I have done the 30 Day Shred DVD and I've lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. I like it because it increases intensity, it's a complete workout, and you really earn it. And it works fast. GL!
I'm sorry for the forced break. Though who knows, maybe you'll get one of those surprised BFPs! Love the Vegas idea.

I'm sorry - not fun. This is what has scared me from starting my meds (Femara for me) - my doc will only give it for 3 months - then you're done. ugh.
a break is a good thing though, and maybe with all of the decrease in stress over thinking of all of this, charting, etc. - and your efforts to get healthier (kudos to you!) your body will regulate a little and who knows what will happen.
visit us if you get a chance - what will we do without you?
re: Vegas -- nice! last time I was there saw a version of Cirque du Soleil which was pretty awesome.

3 rounds of Femara + Ovidrel + IUI =BFN
10/18/09 2nd Break Cycle (post HSG) before IVF #1 = BFP!

I hope that you guys have a wonderful time in Vegas, it is a much deserved and much needed getaway! I hope you are not on break for too long...but hopefully since you will be doing the opposite of TTC, you will get KTFU, because ya know, that's the way this stupid effed up shiz goes. **HUGS**
