Please no flames I'm only four weeks
I ate a chicken sandwich at panera tonight. Its not deli meat, is that ok? It was slightly warm bc the bread was toasted. I didn't ask for the bacon...
Please ease my mind!
A chicken sandwich is fine. I also ate cold deli meat at least once a week for my entire pregnancy. You just have to figure out what you are comfortable with and remember that most things are safe in moderation. The other thing I heard about deli meat- if it's FRESH, it should be fine. You want to avoid old meat that's been sitting in your fridge for a week.
Also-soft cheese is fine. ALL cheese in the U.S. is pasturized - that is the concern about soft cheeses. At some point, it wasn't pasturized and it got this "you can't eat it" attached to it and it can't seem to shake it!

i just tried to stay away from deli meats, especially pork..but like most everybody, i cheated a couple of times and i eat bacon and hot dogs, as long as they are fully cooked

A good rule of thumb is to remember you're concerned about bacteria. If you feel iffy about meats, get it heated up. Like others said, for cheeses, they need to be pasteurized, so while there brie and goat cheese are "soft cheeses", if they are made from pasteurized milk, you're fine. And all those notes in menus about uncooked foods, like poached eggs, etc., now that means you! GL! I know it's confusing when you start, and we all rather be safe than sorry, but you'll find your happy medium.

Cheese made with raw milk (unpasteurized) can be sold if it is aged more than 60 days, so you can legally buy unpasteurized cheese. It's not common to see, but I check labels (and I wouldn't necessarily buy from a roadside stand or farmer's market without confirming the cheese was made from pasteurized milk).
Additionally, doctors used to say not to eat soft cheeses because Listeria can grow more easily in them than hard cheeses, but that's not a "rule" anymore.
Re: Confused about foods you can't eat while out
That's fine. Just stay away from alcohol, sushi, lots of caffeine, stuff like that.
