I'm having a hard time finding clothes that fit DD well. She is long and lean. At her 12 month she was 19.5 lbs but just shy of 31 inches. The 12 month clothes fit her waist but are too short for her. Those with long lean babies have you found any brand to fit better than others?
Re: What brand clothes for thin long LO?
DD fits well in Old Navy, Circo, and Pumpkin Patch pants (eta: in terms of length), while babyGap seem to run shorter. I always buy jeans with adjustable waists.
For onesies, Carters always fit her best.
Kaylin is long and lean as well. 33 inches long at her 15 month visit and 23 lbs.
Carters onsies definitely work best for her. She weare size 18 months. For pants, I only buy adjustable waist now. Target has a couple brands with adjustable waists. We buy Genuine Kids in size 18-24 months. We have to put the waist on the smallest setting but the length is perfect!
I have the same exact problem...things that fit DD's waist are more 12-18 months, but length-wise, she needs 24 months. I've been able to get around this during the summer with cotton dresses, but I'm dreading this winter...
Oh, no suggestions so far, I'm going to read yours. I know the Children's place had amazing pajamas that were made especially for DD...Long, lean, feetie pajamas
Old Navy and Gap work well for us. Gymboree has never been good to us. DD's 6-12 pants still fall off of her, but are like capri pants in length. A new store opened by me and its awesome for tall skinny kids. I know they're on the west coast, and there are only a few on the east coast...but you can buy online. So far, I love the quality and fit (their stuff runs big though--I buy DD a 6-12 month, even though she's almost 15 months)
