Going to my 41 week (+2 days) appointment today. We haven't scheduled an induction date yet, so I don't know what to expect. I could get sent to L&D straight from the appointment, or he could schedule me for an induction as late as next Monday.

I don't know what exactly I should hope for except for a little progress... at 40 weeks I was barely a fingertip dialated and only 50% effaced. Either way, progress would be good- I might actually be favorable for an induction (instead of being an invitation for a failed induction turned c/s) or maybe there's hope for me to go into labor on my own still.

It's so hard sitting here watching all these 37-40 weekers go into labor when my body apparently has no idea what to do with itself. Hopefully it's figured it out in the 9 days since my last appointment.
