Whew, what I wild ride...but we all survived, and my daughter was born on Thursday! She is stunningly beautiful and everyone keeps saying she looks like my husband...and she does!! Out of respect for our b-mom, who is now like my sister, I don't want to post too much just yet, as we still have 3 days until all is final ( TPRs have been signed but I am just being cautious!) I will post pics after her revocation period is over, on Tuesday.
I must say, God was in total control and everything went EXACTLY the way it was supposed to... we did, however, miss the delivery, but we are all ok with that. It gave her a chance to cry in private, which I think she needed to do, as she is a very tough exterior kind of gal, but is a big ol' mush inside. Her family was there to support her and she handed Peyton to us the minute we got there...15 minutes too late! We tried our best to get there, but it just wasn't meant to be!
We were treated with the most loving and compassionate care at the hospital and I am so grateful to the wonderful staff who cared for us and our daughter, and our birthmom! We shared some private, girl time last nite and she asked to see the baby and it was totally fine...they are coming to see us tomorrow.
The baby is simply amazing and I need to get back to her, but I was so touched by all of your love here on the boards and I am praying for all to experience what I have been so blessed with!
Have faith and it will come to you....!!!
I will post more tomorrow!!!
Re: I am "MOM"!!!!!
AMAZING!!! CONGRATULATIONS!! I can't wait to see pics!
Welcome to the world little Peyton!
Congratulations!!!
It sounds like everything is going well. I am so happy to hear about the closeness between you and the bmom. And that she is spending time with the baby. I think that is so important, for her to have that time. You will have a lifetime.
Congratulations again. Can't wait for more updates and of course pictures of the beautiful little princess!
TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
Congrats!!! How amazing. No quotes needed you are a MOM!!!
Awesome!!
I'm so glad to hear that things are going well! Congratulations, Mom! I can't wait until there are pictures to coo over!
This!!
