How often do you see your high risk OB?

How often do you get NSTs?

and finally...

How often do you get your Growth Scans/Ultrasounds.

  • I started seeing my OB every two weeks once diagnosed, now onto once a week because I am almost 36 weeks.

     I never got a NST.

    I have a growth u/s at 38 weeks.

  • Hi there!  I have NST's 2 times a week, and an ultrasound (BPP) once a week.  I also see the OB once a week.  I had my growth ultrasound yesterday... not sure if they will do anymore growth ultrasounds, but they do the BPP once a week, so it may just tie into that one.
  • High Risk OB weekly

    NST/BPP weekly

    Growth every 3 weeks

How often do you see your high risk OB? I don't see anyone but my midwives, once a week.

How often do you get NSTs? Every week since 35 weeks.

    and finally...

How often do you get your Growth Scans/Ultrasounds. After the big 20 week u/s, I've had one at 30 weeks, 34 weeks, and I'll get one at 38 weeks.

  • Regular OB appointments (final 2 week appointment is on Wednesday, then weekly after that since I'll be 36 weeks).

No NSTs yet, but I did end up in L&D this morning for failing two kick counts.

No idea yet, I had one to check on placenta positioning last week.

  • I've never seen a high risk OB or any other specialist (except 1 visit with the nutrionist)

    Never had an NST yet.

I had an u/s 5 weeks after my diagnosis. I have a BPP scheduled for 2 weeks after that appt (next week). I'm not sure if my BPP will include an NST as well or not.

My appointment to see my high risk OB is when i'll be 34 weeks.. i was shocked they wanted me to wait so long.. but since i have my regular OB appointment today i'll ask my doc if that's ok or if she needs to call the hospital and have them see me earlier.

No one told me to do the NSTs  yet..  plan on asking my doc about this today

Growth scan/ultrasound isnt scheduled until my 36th appointment..

my poor doctor will hear an ear full today!

  • I see a high-risk ob AND a regular ob. ?Between the two of them, I am seen twice a month and have very extensive ultrasounds done by both of them.

As far as the NST, I haven't had that done yet.?

  • How often do you see your high risk OB?

*I don't see a high risk OB; I see my regular OB and an endocrinologist...I got GD with my first pregnancy and was pre-diabetic afterward until I got pregnant.  I see my endo once a month right now.  I'm moving to OB appts every two weeks at this point.  My endo began treating me with insulin as soon as my numbers started creeping up (I was already testing 4x daily).  We did not do the 1and 3 hour tests; between my OB and endo, we treated this pregnancy as if I was diabetic from the very beginning.  My OB says we've been doing a good job at keeping on top of things...we started treating higher numbers w/insulin probably a little earlier or right around the same time most women get the 1 and 3 hour tests. Prior to this pregnancy, I was on metformin.

How often do you get NSTs?

*I have a regular U/S at 32.5 weeks and will schedule weekly NSTs when I see my OB on the 18th.

    and finally...

How often do you get your Growth Scans/Ultrasounds.

*I had the usual 12 week scan, one at 20 and one at 28 weeks.  Everything is on target so far 45-50% percentile for growth.
