I am working and am too tired at night to go to the gym. If I walk for 30 min. at lunch, does that count? Will extra walking help in any way? Normally I wouldn't consider that as exercising because I am not out of breath/sweating.
I would say it is better than doing nothing. I walk home 2-3 times a week and it takes me 1 1/2-2 hours. I get much better exercise from going to the gym for an hour but I like walking during the summer.
that is the only excercise i get so i count it. i don't even get 30 minutes in-but walk to and from day care or to the park. figure every little bit helps.
Not sure what your normal workout is like but my Dr. recommended/preferred exercise for preggos are low impact activities like walking, swimming and/or yoga. I prefer walking to yoga and I don't have easy access to a pool.
You do not have to be out of breathe or sweating to get good exercise. If you need a bit more challenge walk faster, take stairs and/or go for a hike.
I'd say it counts. If you can walk and kegel at the same time, you'd really be improving yourself.
Hahaha! We totally think alike... And if walking doesn't count, then I'm in trouble ; ) Oh, and sex counts too!
Sex definitely counts but unfortunately most people aren't having enough of it to increase their fitness. + I love your little badge about a clean house being a sign of a wasted life. I have the same thing on a magnet on my fridge.
