What do you do to keep the mosquitoes off yourself and your DC? We have a HORRIBLE mosquito problem and I was riding my bike around some neighborhoods this weekend and saw a yard sign for mist a pest (mistapest.com if anyone is interested). They do monthly treatments for $95, which supposedly keeps them away and is safe for your gardens, animals, kids, etc. They also have an automatic misting system for like $2500 or something, I donno... We have an awesome yard for nora to play in, but we can't even go outside bc the mosquitoes are so bad! I'm not exaggerating when I say I can be outside for 3 minutes and get bitten 10 times. It's horrible!! We are surrounded by lakes, which is the only thing I can think of to make it so bad! I don't want to dress Nora in pants and long sleeves right now bc she'll get so hot! And one was on her head yesterday anyway! I'm so fed up with them... WDYD to keep them away? I think I'm going to call the pedi today and see what they suggest.

Re: keeping mosquitoes away
We have Terminix spray our yard once a month for $50/mo. It cuts down on the mosquitoes, but we still have to put some bug spray on. We use a deet-free bug spray made by Bullfrog and it works pretty well. Burts Bees also has a really good all natural bugspray. When Ben was too little for spray we used these things called Thermacells that you can get at Home Depot. It's like some of the products Off makes but much more effective.
Good luck! I know it's frustrating.
