DD has a boob preference and I can't figure out why. When I pump I get the same amount from each side but she definitely prfers the left side. Anyone else experiencing this?
Have you seen a LC? It could be that your latch on the right side needs some work. DD prefered the right side for a long time because I wasn't latching her on to the left correctly. I saw an LC that helped me out and now she feeds from both.
My baby was going back and forth with not wanting my right breast. It came out of nowhere after about a week of breastfeeding. I think it was slightly more engorged and he couldn't get a good latch. I started squeezing my breast to flatten it out for him and now he's back to nursing from both sides.

My DS was the same way! I think he was just more comfortable laying that way plus my right boob is slightly bigger than my left so i think that had something to do with it as well. I eventually just pumped because it was much easier than stressing about whether or not he was getting enough just from my left.
Norah is the same way, even now. Being that I'm left-handed, I think it's just my hold is different on the left rather than the right. My right side also gets engorged more easily and is larger as it is.
You might want to try to pump a few minutes before starting her on that side so that you milk lets down a little. I agree with the pp too, to see an LC if you can. Maybe someone can come to your house?

She sounded pretty preturbed last night. I hope all went well
