How much alcohol is in your house right now?

We've got a 12 pack of beer in the fridge.  Why, I really don't know because I don't normally drink beer, and M doesn't drink very much at all.

No wine.  **sob**

No liquor.  When we moved we still had a shitton of liquor leftover from our wedding.  Seriously, there was a TON of it.  We gave it all to our neighbor because he's awesome.  LOL  He was very happy with us.

  • Right now, we have a bottle of wine in the fridge, some Captain Morgan in the freezer and we HAD a case of beer in the fridge, but DH went out with friends last night and took the beer.

  • 5 bottles of Oberon (local beer, everyone in town loves it, except DH & I.  It was supposed to be a thankyou for the guy who gave us the clawfoot tub, DH forgot it.)

About 2 jiggers worth of vodka, and some tequila that I can't drink (I puke every time)

  • Our garage fridge is filled with beer.  If I had to guess, I would say there is about 100 beers in there right now (missing Bud Light though since Joe drank them all last night).  There is Michelob Ultra and Bud Light Lime (for visitors) in there right now.  Oh, and Miller Lite cans that his dad drinks.

We have about 7 bottles of red wine because neither of us like red wine so it just sits there on the wine rack!  :)

Other than that, the things we drink, well, we are all out.  Thank you for posting this --- I'll call Joe now and tell him to stop at the package store on his way home tonight!!!!  hee,hee

(I do have two containers of rum punch made but I left them at the beach house thinking I would be returning sooner than I am.  Damn it all, I hate when I do that!)  ;)

  • Several bottles of wine (some good, some crap NC stuff that needs to be thrown out since it tastes like the pour bucket at a wine tasting), a bunch of bottles of liquor, probably 2 beers.
She's crafty - and she's just my type.
  • Here's where you can judge...

We have a fully stocked bar in our basement.  We have a wine fridg, and an extra fridge in the basement that is just for beer.  We do not sit around getting drunk everynight, but we do entertain almost every Saturday.

  • 4 or 5 beers, a bottle of vodka, a bottle of rum.
  • none - we never have any alcohol in the house.  we don't drink.  not because we hate drinking (dh might have a beer or two at a work dinner or at a bach party), but we just dont.  i have rule about drinking calories (id much rather have a donut with my diet pop). and i never much took to the taste of anything - except at a wedding in july i drank vodka and diet pepsi (by drink #3 i was no longer tasting the vodka at all).  it was the first time i drank and the first time i had been drunk since probably my 21st bday.  im 27.

  • Party at Jodi's --- and then MLM's.  We are relatively close as well so it will only take one plane ticket!  :)
  • Feel free Bubbly-if I recall you were drinking Scotch the other night?  My dh drinks some pretty good Scotch.

We even have the carousel of bottles so you can pick your shots...and a pool table for drunken fun.

  • Too much, IMO because it's just sitting there taunting me.....

Really, not very much.  2 or 3 beers, probably about 6 bottles (vodka, rum, etc)

  • Ok, um we just moved and got rid of some of the booze before we left.

So we have about 12 beers in the fridge, but a bunch of different kinds [Guiness - mine, Budweiser, Pacifico - MH's].  10 bottles of red wine.  Absolut Citron [the really big bottle], a Costco size bottle of Maker's Mark, a couple other types of bourbon, and that might be it...

Oops forgot that we have a Costco size bottle of Patron too.

Not me, it was Coker.  Liquor makes me super silly.  And then I get emotional.  But that's never stopped me before.  Party!!!

  • We have a 12 pack of beer in the fridge down in the bar. 5 bottles of wine and maybe 6 or 7 bottles of liquor down in the bar too.

  • few bottles of wine, 1 of champange, 1 bottle of tequila, and 1 of Parrot Bay.  Kinda a lot for people who really don't drink much these days.
  • We have some Tequila, and some beer.

Sweet, perfect, undrinkable alcohol : (

  • I really never drink....I hate the way that I feel the next day and don't like alcohol enough to bother with it.  SO, we have probably 12 or so beers, 1/2 bottle of Cherry Vodka, and some misc. mixing alcohol...creme de menthe, etc. (I DO like making grasshoppers with vanilla ice cream!).
  • Jodi, I am so coming over.  I want to try your punch!

  • DH has a kegorator in the basement, although, I think he recently finished that keg...

We have about 10 bottles of good wine in the wine rack, as well as some decent ones that we drink on a more regular basis.

There are bottles of tequila, vodka and Captain in the freezer/cabinet.

There might be a couple of beers in the fridge; they might have been consumed...

  • 12 pack Bud Lime

    1 bottle Stoli Strawberry Vodka

1 Bottle Three Olives Pomegranate Vodka

    1 bottle Jack

    2 bottles Reisling

    1 bottle Merlot

    Party!!!

  • About a 6-pack of beer in the fridge.  The end of white wine in the fridge and a few bottles in the lquor cabinet that dh keeps stocked....captain morgan, kahlua, sambuca, vodka and a bottle of red wine.

This reminds me, I need more white wine.  And I agree, Jodi's house sounds like the place to be!

2 bottle red & 1 white in wine rack

    1 bottle vodka in freezer

fully stocked bar (rum, whiskey, liquers, etc.)

We like to entertain alot.  Normally there would be more beer & wine but we had a bbq last night.

  • I think 5.5 bottles of wine, 1 bottle champagne, bottle of Kahlua, and maybe a beer or two in the fridge.

ETA:  and tequila in the freezer.

  • Not much.  Some tequila, rum (?) and maybe vodka, but just a small bit.  A very nice bottle of wine that's waiting for this baby to be born before I can open it.  Oh and I think there's a cheap bottle of wine in my car funnily enough.  Is that a lot?  DH doesn't drink and (obviously) I'm not right now so it's all just a stash from before I got PG.
  • Brewster - everyone that has had the punch is now addicted to it!  ;)
  • We have a lot. In the kitchen fridge there are always 3-5 different kinds of beer (partial 6 packs of various ones, plus "cheap" beer for brats), parts of two different Smirnoff Ice type drink 6 packs, a few bottles of wine, and Baileys (usually caramel, but sometimes normal and mint too). Our wine fridge holds 45ish bottles, and in the basement we have 2-3 other cases of wine stored (depending on if we just got our shipment from the Wall Street Journal wine club or if there was a good sale at the wine store). Then in the liqour cabinet we have a lot - tequilas, whiskeys (like different Jamesons, etc.), Malibu, gin, run, etc). The entire cabinet is full of stuff - though we do need to toss some of it because it is so old and so little in the bottle it isn't worth keeping. We have a little tiny bit of a wine problem! :)
  • we're fully stocked here...co can vouch for that! ;)

  • The entire bottom drawer of our fridge is stocked full of beer (3 different types), we have two bottles of wine on hand because I have to have it special ordered and just picked up all they had the other day, and we keep Grey Goose in the freezer and the rest of the liquor (that I don't drink) is in the cabinet above the refrigerator.

  • My DH doesn't drink and we never have parties with alcohol.  I drink when I'm elsewhere.  All we have is a gallon jug of Chardonnay that I use for cooking.  Course when I cook I'll have a small glass.  lol
  • We live with my parents and I'm not exaggerating when I say we have at LEAST 7 gallons of Captain Morgan, 5-6 gallons of Windsor, 3 gallons of vodka and several liter bottles of assorted liquor. And, at no point is there ever less than a couple cases of beer in the garage, one in the fridge and probably a 12 pack in my dad's shop fridge.

We're on vacation with my parents and I just looked on the top of the fridge here -- 2 gallons of Captain, 1 gallon of Windsor, 1 bottle of rum, 1 bottle of UV blue, a bottle of tequila, a huge bottle of vodka and a bottle of peach schnapps. We have a couple cases of beer and some assorted wine coolers and such, too.

I've had one drink since we've been here. H isn't here. The booze is primarily my parents'.

  • I love this post! I just had a baby on 7/25, and have received more wine as gifts than I could ever drink-we're stocked for months (or weeks, ha!). So about 10-12 bottles of wine, a six pack of corona lights, and a couple of random bottles of liquor. And I'll admit to having at least one glass of wine per night, since coming home from the hospital. It was a LONG nine months!
  • 18 pack of beer that no longer contains 18 beers (not sure how many are in there) and a load of wine and liquor.  the later only because we buy it on sale whenever we are in NH.  It's way cheaper there for some reason.

  • There is about a 12 pack of beer in the fridge and some crown and vodka in the cabinet.
  • We have a lot-3 bottles of wine, 4 bottles of hard liquor, total of a 12-pack of beer. Normally we have a little less wine and beer, but some of it is leftovers from dd's bday party.

  • tons! people always give us liquor and we always pick up a little something at costco.
  • Does cooking sherry count?? Wink Oh yeah, and DH's uncle just gave him a $150 bottle of wine... but we don't drink wine... so we'll wait until we have house guests and open it.
