DS has been practicing his standing all day and every two hours sleeps for only a half hour. I assume this is because he is practicing his new skill, right? Well, I was wondering what toys are good for this stage as he has outgrown his bouncer, jumperoo, etc. ?
Also, did any of your LOs skip crawling and go straight to walking. DS "crawls" (more like army, seal-like motions not really using his knees), but does not seem interested in using his knees. It looks like he might be trying to stand.
Also, how did you play with them at this stage. He is not as interested with his toys as much.
Re: Toys for Standing Practice
Maybe try the Leap Frog Learn & Groove Table. DS crawls, but he loves standing at this to play.

Now that he's almost walking, DS has lost interest in this table, but when he was first learning to stand, this thing was CRACK to him. He played with it ALL the time and would cruise around it over and over and over again. Definitely worth the money!
