DS doesn't bite when he nurses, but bites me on my shoulder, arms, stomach, legs, toes (yep) as often as he can. He's been doing this for about 2 weeks now. He doesn't seem to be teething (he already has 7 teeth).
I firmly say "no" and stop whatever we're doing, but DS just laughs. I try to redirect as much as possible, but sometimes he takes me by surprise. If you're in the same boat, or have been...what do you do?!?!
Re: does anyone have a biter?
Oh my, I can relate! DS has been doing it since birth! He now has four teeth and it hurts soooo bad. I try really hard not to react and just redirect. But apprarently that does not work!!! I hope you get a really helpful response and we can end this soon!

I do! I have a biter!!
I try to say "no biting" really firmly and not give it any other attention than that. It actually has somewhat been reduced.
I have to bite my tongue sometimes so I don't yell (from pain, not at DS). Because that will just make him laugh and he thinks it's a game.
It's hard because I deal with biters in my class at work (most of them are over a year), but dealing with my own biter at home is a whole new world.
I also used to laugh... until he actually did break the skin... a couple of times.
Sometimes he'll get ahold so tight and bite down so hard that he shakes.
