When to give baby eggs?

I looked it up, but I'm finding conflicting info and my pedi never said one way or the other.  No allergy history in the family.  I made a quiche for dinner and I'm wondering if the little bit of egg in it is ok for DD.

    I'm not positive, but I think it's after a year.

    I think you can give egg yolk, but you are supposed to wait for the whites.  That being said, we haven't given DD egg yet.

    Egg yolk is okay, but you're supposed to hold off on giving the whites until after they're a year old...at least that's what I've read and what pedi said.
