DS loves to eat but very small quantities and then he's just done (turns away, purses lips, starts whining). He does this both for bm and solids. At 8 months, he's 17.5 lb and although he hasn't technically lost weight, he's on a different weight curve - he's on a flat line right now (I've posted about this before, just need more ideas). Do you have any ideas how to get him to eat more? Any links/books would be great too. TIA

Re: Ideas to get DS to eat more
Well, based on personal experience, I'd say deep fry it and dip in ranch. Ya, that should work.
I'm no help at all. But I had to do it.
I would just keep trying different foods - and maybe try some finger foods too.
DD hated somethings pureed, but loved them as finger foods.
We do green beans, bananas and blueberries as finger foods now and she loves them. We also do small bits of cheese and also try to feed her a little bit of whatever we're eating.
Give him lots of variety, but you can't make him eat. He's smart enough to know when he's hungry and when he's full.
Child Of Mine is a fabulous book on nutrition for babies and yound children.
