I made homemade mac and cheese in the slow cooker tonight using the dietician's recommended pasta : Barilla Plus. It was delicious!! And my 1 hour number was only 105! ?
Yay! I love it when I can have a great meal and get good numbers afterwards. I made Chicken Marsala (recipe on dlife.com). We had some instant mashed potatoes and broccoli and I had a glass of milk and my 2 hr number was 111 (supposed to be <120.) I was so excited!

That sounds good, how many carbs per serving is the pasta? Any time so far I've tried pasta, my numbers have skyrocketed. And i'm craving it soooo bad!
The pasta had a pretty good amount of carbs (so I didn't have any others with the meal), like maybe 65 grams. But it had really high fiber and protein, so that must have made a difference for me. I recommend trying it!
