charting + clomid?

okay this is probably a really dumb question but those of you on clomid... do you also chart?  BBT, CM, cervix position, etc?  it kind of seems  like it would be tough b/c clomid can affect your temps and your CM as well.  but maybe i'm misssing something.

Re: charting + clomid?

  • i stopped charting on clomid because i was being closely monitored by my doctor with ultrasounds and bloodwork, which is much more accurate than charting...    are you being monitored?    if so, that monitoring should determine if and when you are ovulating, and my doctor used those results to instruct us when to have TI or come in for IUIs.

    good luck!

  • I did when I was on clomid. while it did make the temps on the days I took clomid go high, they did come back down in time to see a true thermal shift. As far as the cm, I took B-6 daily and drank lots of water to keep the cm coming.

  • I charted when I was on clomid.  The higher temps didn't really change anything as far as telling when I o'd.

  • yes, i am monitored but i'm on day 1 so i'm trying to decide if i want to chart this cycle (i haven't been doing it on previous clomid cycles).  if i'm gunna do it, now's a good day to start :)

you know, i hadn't hear of B-6 for the CM.  thanks for mentioning that.
  • I charted while on Clomid. It temporarily elevated my temps, but they came down long enough to see a true temp shift. I wasn't charting much in the way of CM at the time, so it relied on my temps.
