not bloated w/IVF-- is that ok?

I just got dressed for the first time since ET.  I am barely, if at all, bloated.  Does this mean something is wrong?  I was bloated prior to ET (although not as badly as I had expected) but it seems gone now. I am usually the queen of bloat, so this is weird to me.  Please tell me it is ok and that all the meds are still working.

  • Totally normal, I had the same thing and asked the same question.  Enjoy your bloat free time and crossing my fingers that the bloat comes back to you for nine months.

  • I TOTALLY was going to post this today.  I am SO MUCH LESS bloated than prior to ET.  After ER I couldn't wear ANY of my clothes.  I didn't expect for it to go down this much.  I admit, I am really concerned as well.

  • I wasn't bloated at all until about 2 days ago. Enjoy it.. it will come in full force soon!
  • Enjoy it and many vibes that you will have lots of baby bloat very soon!!

  • This happened to me too after my fresh transfer. I think it was due to stopping the stims. As others have said, enjoy it!

  • My last cycle I was not bloated at all and I thought this was a bad sign right before ER. I had 32 eggs retrieved and had a mild case of OHSS. So I don't think the bloast has anything to do with it at all!

  • In the 3 days post ER, I lost 8 pounds from all the bloating and water weight.  It hasn't affected the outcome of our IVF negatively at all. Big Smile

Enjoy having the bloat go down, and keep your fingers crossed that it will be returning in its own good time!

  • i didn't hardly have any bloating post ET. i was still a little tender in the ovaries, but it disipated eventually. i also ended up w/a positive on my first beta, so no bloating doesn't necessarily mean bad news for the rest of the results.
