This morning I took my son to the Dr. because everytime he'd walk his left leg would give out on him and he'd cry. He showed me that it was his calf hurting, not the knee or ankle. Nothing is swollen, bruised, etc. Do you think it could be a cramp? I assumed that his leg was asleep at first, but it kept bothering him to the point that he wouldn't walk. The Dr. said nothing was wrong that he could find. Jake is fine as long as he's not putting weight on it. Any advice?
Re: Anybody's toddler have leg cramps/pain?
DD complains off and on that her legs hurt. Sometimes I think it's the position she was sitting in. Other times I think it's probably a growth spurt. It's usually her hamstrings that bother her.
She's never in enough pain that she can't walk.
I wonder if he pulled a muscle somehow.
