does your DC ever get swollen glands?

I just discovered DS has a swollen lymph node in his neck.  He just turned a certain way today and I could see it.  It doesn't feel huge but it definitely feels larger than the other nodes in his neck.  He's fine otherwise and has never even had a cold.  I don't know if his body is fighting something and he just has no outward symptoms.  This also conincides with being passed around at a party and being in someone's home that owns a dog  (DS has some allergies), and we also put him in the nursery at church for the first time yesterday.  So maybe he was exposed to something there.

So if your LO has had swollen glands, did they have outward symptoms as well?

    around nine months, DS had what i thought was a "lump" on the back left side of his head/neck.  we went to the pedi for his nine month appointment, and he said it was just a swollen lymph node, and to keep an eye on it, but that it would probably go away.  he wasn't outwardly symtomatic with a  cold or any other type of virus, and it went down shortly thereafter.  so no big deal, and i probably wouldn't have even noticed it in the first place if i wasn't so neurotic.  most likely nothing to worry about...
