My best friend and I were due a day apart. She is being induced today and i am going in for a c-section tomorrow. She went in at 5:00 am and the baby is not here yet... we're taking bets that it will be late tonight. So her baby and mine may actually end up being born on the same day. Whats even more ironic is the fact that her husband and my husband were college roommates and she and I were college roommates. We both ended up getting engaged the same weekend (the boys didn't plan it that way it just happened) and we both got married the same month, moved away and then jobs brought us back to the same town...nothing was planned it just happened. Then neither one of us knew that the other was trying to have a baby. We all were just going with the flow and letting time do its thing. I went over to her house to tell her we were PG, she started dying laughing and told me they were too!!! Now here we are 9 months later and our babies will be born within hours of each other. I just shake my head because if we had tried to plan it, it never ever would have happened. I guess it just goes to show.... God has a sense of humor!
Something else I thought was funny.... My birthday is Feb 2, My DH is March 2nd and now LO will be July 22nd!!! Can I buy another number please!
I know this post is totally random...but it just made me laugh! Hope everyone is having a great day!
Re: what are the odds....
My daughter and one of my best friends son was born within 24 hours of each other, and we started out in the same delivery room, but I ended up in the OR with a c-section. She went in the hosp. on Monday night and had her son at around 6pm on Tuesday. I arrived at the same hosptial Tuesday around 11:45pm and was brought into the same LDR room that she had her son in, I had my daughter at 4:38 on wednesday.
Its fun having a story to tell!
