angelcare motion monitor users- A question

We just started using this 3 nights ago when we put him in his crib.  I put one of the parent units on my nightstand- so it can stay in the charger at all times.  What I don't get is I leave it in the charger all night (while it is on) and the battery bar shows decreasing power.  It has not lost power, but does show the half battery by the time morning rolls around.

Does this happen to anyone else?  I just want to make sure nothing is wrong with mine b/c losing power while it is in the charger seems weird to me.

    ours was doing this too.  check the power cord to ensure that it is properly plugged into the back of the unit.  ours came loose and was losing power.
