I thought this would be a fun post! How does your LO eat a banana? Do you cut it up, hand them the whole thing, or other? And what do they do with it?
I hand my daughter the whole thing just pealed enough so she can eat what's showing. Then she sticks her fingers in it and eats these tiny pieces at a time. It is quite the messy process!
Re: how does your child eat a banana?
It depends on his mood. I can give him half of it, peeled, and he'll go to town. Other days, he wants it cut into slices. Either way, it's usually gone in seconds!
Those stains are the worst! I always make sure she has an apron on/ play clothes

us too!
I peel it and give it to her and she holds it like I would and eats it. I tried giving her half of a peeled banana and she smushed it, so now she just holds onto the peel and eats it normally. She refuses to eat it any other way now.
I split it using the natural division, too. Depending on how hungry dd is, I'll either offer the whole banana broken into 5-6 pieces then split again along the separation lines (making 3 pieces out of each 1-2 inch section). If I give her the whole thing, she just squishes it in her fist. But, she'll down an entire small banana if I give her the thirds.
