My husband and I have always loved the name Olivia, prior to it becoming super popular. I know Olivia is pretty common, but is it just TOO common? Other names we like for a girl are Hazel, Adelaine, and Rowan; any thoughts on these?
We will likely name our next girl Isabella but I'm also torn about the popularity thing. I wouldn't worry too much about it. As for your other names I think Hazel is okay although it reminds me of an older woman. I much prefer Adelaide to Adelaine. Rowan is one of my top choices for a boy, really don't like it for a girl.

I think you just have to way how important it is for your child to be the only "x" in her class. If you aren't that bothered by the possibilty of there being another Olivia in the class then I say go for it.
I think that Olivia is top on your list- you should use it. It's not like your daughter will be one of 4 or 5. As a teacher, I sometimes get duplicates, but the popularity of name doesn't always coincide! One year I had 2 Vanessas- that wasn't an overly popular name. As of now, I have taught one Olivia in 11 years and know of one in my neighborhood. I think it's a super cute, feminine name!! Good luck!
According to all the statistics it's extremely popular but I only know one little girl named this. I'm sure a lot of it depends on your area. I'd say go for it. I think it's pretty remarkable when a couple actually love the same name. So far I've been the one to compromise when it came to naming ours.
Olivia is common enough that DH and I wouldn't use it, but we have good friends who are set on it for the baby girl they're expecting. I think Hazel is super-cute and Adelaine is pretty good, too. Rowan is NMS.

Hazel is sweet. My cousin is naming her baby this. She's due in September.
Not a fan of the others. Sorry.
