Medela Pump In Style....

Where did you buy yours? I just got home from the hospital Tuesday and so far BFing is working out. I'm going to get a pump but wondered where I should buy it. We just got the 15% off coupon for BRU in the mail (and have a few gift cards left that we could use for it) but am wondering if I should "splurge" and get it there, or find it cheaper online or elsewhere. Suggestions?

    Sorry I can't help. The hospital ordered mine for me and my ins. paid for it. Try looking around if you can get a deal, go for it! Try local med supply places too.

    I have noticed that most places are very close in prices. I would go with where you have the discount and pray for an addition sale, haha ;) Congrats of Bfing going well so far!

    oh yeah and I have heard some ladies on here say there insurance paid for part or all of a breast pump if the got an Rx from their MD.....BCBS I think?!

    www.lactationcare.com  When I got mine, it was at least 30% less than BRU. You have to call to get the price (they are not allowed to list prices online - per Medela's policy), but definitely do - it was worth it!

    I got mine from Away Baby Essentials for $200.  They price matched Best Buy Baby's price and I got free stuff 'cause of that.

    I got mine from a pharmacy.  It was $249, although my insurance is covering the cost.

    IF you are planning on breastfeeding for awhile don't buy a cheapie!! Splurge! I had a hand me down from my best friend (single deluxe by medela) and ran out and got the PISA (metro bag) Tues. I LOVE it!!
