Update on Weathermanswife's echo u/s

It is not good... They said it could be something minor but that they are leaning towards something that is more life threatening... There is no way to know until Baby Luke is born.. Weather needs all of the support that she can get right now. She is terrified! She said she would be on later with more details but that she needs time to digest. If any of you want to send something to weather a nice card, flowers, etc please pm me and I will give you her address.....

Oh, no! I hope everything ends up being okay and that the doctors are just being cautious. Poor Weather must be a mess. I'll pray for her and baby now.

Oh no. I will definitely triple my prayers. Of course I have no idea what they are thinking is going on, but my nephew was born with a closed aorta. They operated on him at 2 days old, took an artery from his arm, and created a new aorta. It's miraculous what doctors can do. Now he's a completely healthy 13 year old who plays baseball, basketball and runs track. I guess my point is that doctors can do a lot, and I will continue to pray that they can help little Luke if there is a problem. In the meantime, I will continue to hope that he is healthy and that they are mistaken. Hang in there Weather!

Weather, best of luck to you and your family. If it is any consolation at all, my BF's nephew was born with a heart defect that required surgery almost immediately after delivery and he is now a healthy and happy toddler running around with his brother and sister. I wish nothing but the best for all of you and pray love will guide and strengthen you and Luke.

It was after her first u/s that she had when she got to L&D, they checked her fluid (cuz she thought she was leaking) and she was bleeding as well after the internal so I am sure that is another reason why they wanted to do the u/s, that is when they saw the defect
