Stupid Fleece Soaker Question...

I want to make some. What kind of fleece do I use? (I never have used fleece/shopped for fleece) Is it the same kind they use for those tie blankets? That doesnt get too hot for the baby?

 I just now got 6 prefolds, and just now ordered a gm. I have always used pockets. So, I'm new to all this.

    I've always just used regular fleece that you can get at Walmart, etc. I sew in another layer in the soaker area and they've worked great.
