The logistics of this is stumping me, considering I don't get out of work until 5.
I've been waking up nearly every night until around 3am with vomit in my mouth. It's never enough to actually go throw up, but it wakes me up in a jolt and forces me to brush my teeth about 5x during the night. It's horrible and getting worse the bigger my little man gets. Last night it was particularly bad and started immediately upon laying down. For a while I thought it was my ridiculious heartburn, but it's becoming more and more apparent that it isn't related. (yay.)
We tend to eat dinner around 7/7:30.
She told me to try to make lunch more substantial and stick with things like cereal/toast after 5. I struggle with what to bring in for lunch now simply because bringing in lunch to work is a pain, and I'm limited to a microwave.
As it is now I tend to bring in something leftover from last nights dinner, or a lean cuisine/healthy choice meal, sometimes a sandwich or a salad and it will fill me up! I'll also have some pretzels and hummice, sometimes an orange/other fruits or some crackers, my juice and water too.
Can anyone offer any suggestions here? I'm kinda stumped :sigh:

Why don't you aim for 6pm, so move dinner up an hour and make it lighter? You could always take whatever you are missing out on for lunch the next day.
Also I have been spliting my lunch up into two sections (like early 11am and late 1pm) so that I actually get all the veggies and stuff I need in and am not vamished by dinner... that might help you get more food in.

Yes and no.
Reglan actually increases stomach contractions, helping food pass into your intestines faster. As a result, it reduces heartburn for most people too. But since vomit = food coming back up the same way acid does, Reglan should help that.
Are you eating anything between lunch and dinner at all? I'd probably just switch to smaller meals entirely and take a bunch of snacks to work to eat between meals
If you want to follow the doctor's advice completely, I'd just pack lunch AND dinner and eat before leaving the office
As for a more substantial lunch, I'd probably do something like pasta with sauce, spinach, some sort of protein. Heats up really easily. Or rice and beans, maybe with some chicken.
