I get annoyed when someone gets slammed on a comment they make just because of their post count. I.E. "so you with 3 posts are going to call me out!" Annoying. Judge a post on the content not on the person's post count.
This reminds me...I HATE when people post about their post count!

Yes, dear. I see that link. What I'm saying is that no known safe amount exists because it would be fairly unethical to put pregnant booze hounds to the test pre & post partum.
And for one woman 12.5 drinks a day may not end up in FAS. There's not going to be a safe amount.
But you cannot, and will not get a FAS baby from a glass of wine.
Well, it's not a phrase, but I hate the nestie tendency to take a post, and totally ignore the original subject in order to lambast the OP for a phrase/picture. There's my two cents.
Me too! If you want to make a negative comment, fine, but at least say something regarding the OP.
I hate the Nestism "OMG, you just made me spit water/coffee/diet Coke all over my screen!"
And I agree about the lunch meat thing. I ate lunch meat while I was pregnant but after a bunch of people got sick and died of listeria this past fall, I think that next time I would think twice.
I hate (hate, hate) when people use "Everything in moderation" as a blanket statement.
Yes, for some things moderation is fine but for other things, doing something in "moderation" isn't good enough. This bothers/bothered me most on the tri boards in reference to lunch meat. It only takes ONE TIME to get listeria from lunch meat so having it in moderation really isn't good enough (in my opinion). That's like saying you won't get pregnant without using a condom just as long as you only do it in moderation....it just takes once!
On the other hand, things like a small glass of wine during pregnancy is fine in moderation so that would be a time when it is okay to say you can consume "in moderation".
I disagree with you on this because I think alcohol during pregnancy is worse than lunch meat.
I hate when people try to pretend like they're not AWing.
If the subject of your post is "Will my child ever talk" and then in the post you say, "he is 10 months old and only says mama, dada, baba, puppy, kitty, chair, milk, boobie, TV, book..." obviously you are just posting to AW that your kid can talk.
yes yes yes.
or "ugh, i am losing weight so fast i dont know what to do!!! its like im SO skinny!"
lol, so true! Or, when someone asks about weight in a post, everyone who responds has gained like 2 lbs. during their pregnancy. Come on
Re: Poll: What "nestism" do you hate?

8.5 drinks per week!?!?!?!
That's alot.
Great, now we're going to have a bunch of liquored-up 2 under 2's in here. Permission granted.
Drinking alcohol can cause birth defects. It is unknown how much which is why it's best to not drink while pregnant.

this is totally different from saying that FAS can happen from one drink
LOL at one drink can cause FAS. Do some research (and quoting MOD's reco doesn't count).
I'm with yall on the "sneaky" AW's. I love the "My kid is crawling at 6 months! Is that OK?"

OOOOoo!!! Thanks OWTH! I was wondering where this whole 1 drink can = FAS sh!t came from and if there was any truth to it.

I'm having problems with that one, too.
Especially since my doctor rolled her eyes at the lunch meat thing.
