Henry is our best bet right now. We love Harry, but our last name rhymes with Harry, and Harry w/our last name is also a famous Chicagoian. So that nixes that. I also love Barrett, which is a family name, but I'm worried that people would call him Barry b/c it would rhyme with his last name.

Connor Jay was in the running with DS and I still really like it. I also like Sawyer, Oliver and Milo (would people automatically think Milo and Otis for Owen?)...I love Sebastian and Xavier, but DH already nixed those.
We both liked Clark before we found out DD was a girl. I also like Griffin. I have a crazy extended family so all the typical boy names are taken and we already know 3 Jack's.

DS #1 is Elijah Ray, if we have a DS2 he will be Griffin Salvatore. It was originally going to be Wyatt Salvatore but we made the mistake of saying it in front of DH's cousin and her husband (who is in a cowboy stage - not dissing cowboys, just poser cowboys) any-hoo they are having a boy in July and sure enough after months of deciding they chose Wyatt.
We were annoyed a few days later we said hey what about Griffin and it stuck. AND we're NEVER telling any family or friends until we know next baby is a boy
I think this will be a very hard thing b/c I liked the name Elliott for so long and we couldn't come up with anything else. I do like Sebastian, but it wouldn't go with our last name.
I think we are sticking with the 'c' theme so our next boy will be Carson, other 'c' names we like are Colt, Cooper, Cameron, Collin (but wonn't use this b/c my cousin did)
None 'c' names I love- Heath, Judson, Owen, and Ian.
Im surprised to see a few Ashers! We would probably name #2 Lucas. Other favorites are Kieran and Spencer. We also love Finn, but we used it for our dog!

Alexander Richard will be our first boy. Other first names we like are Zachary and Nicholas. Middle names would be chosen from Dominic, Michael and Anthony.

Other boy names that we considered include Sebastian and Elliott. I also liked Edward (it's my dad's middle name), but Twilight has ruined that name now.

Re: If you have a boy (next time around)...
I don't have any idea...
I have girl names though...Charlie or Piper...my two favorite names EVER!
A boy will be Eric Samuel.
We have no more boy names we both like.
Asher and Xavier
I doubt DH would go for them... but we think we're one-and-done anyway, so a girl can dream.

We really like August, but we know it's unusual so we're not sure we'd do it. It goes really nicely with our last name and Swedish/German heritage.
I also like Graham.
I have a friend who did this. I think it's a great idea. I wish I didn't have such an unusable maiden name.

All of those names are pretty popular, though, so we may reconsider.

Other boy names that we considered include Sebastian and Elliott. I also liked Edward (it's my dad's middle name), but Twilight has ruined that name now.
