Walmart return policy question

MIL bought me an expansion pack to a computer game I no longer have and she can't find the receipt and paid cash.  Will they do an exchange or no since it's an electronic?

    Has it been opened? If it's still sealed they should. I don't know for sure though.

    Nope, I know they won't take it back opened.  I looked on their website and it doesn't mention having a receipt so I guess I'll just give it a try and see.
